Meet the Trainer Behind Pawlish Up

Hi, I’m Shannon Herzberg, and I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. My journey into dog training began with a simple love for animals and evolved after seeing how powerful the bond between dogs and their owners can be. Through personal challenges and growth, I realized I wanted to help others build that same rewarding connection. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all breeds and personalities — helping them overcome obstacles, learn new skills, and thrive at home. Whether it’s improving behavior, mastering obedience, or building confidence, I’m committed to giving each dog the personalized care they deserve. I approach every pup with patience, empathy, and a belief in their potential. My goal is to make training a positive experience for both dogs and their people, built on trust and mutual respect. When I’m not working with dogs, I’m off exploring the world — discovering new cultures and the wonders I’ve always dreamed of seeing.

What types of dog training do you offer?

We offer a wide range of dog training services including puppy training, basic and advanced obedience, leash manners, behavior correction, socialization, in-home sessions, and Board & Train programs. Each program is customized to fit your dog’s needs and your lifestyle.
How long does it take to see results from training?

Many dogs show improvement within just a few sessions, but long-term success depends on consistency at home. We provide personalized guidance to ensure lasting results.
What age should I start training my puppy?

We recommend starting as early as 8 weeks old. Early socialization and basic training set the foundation for a well-behaved, confident dog.
What’s included in your Board & Train program?

Our Board & Train includes obedience training, leash manners, socialization, and behavior correction - but nearly all of our programs are available in some way. Each dog receives a custom plan based on their age, breed, and needs.
Can you help with aggressive or reactive behavior?

Absolutely. We specialize in behavior modification for issues like aggression, reactivity, and anxiety—always starting with a full assessment and custom approach.
Do you offer in-home dog training in Montgomery, The Woodlands, or Conroe?

Yes, we offer convenient in-home training sessions throughout Montgomery, The Woodlands, Conroe, and surrounding Houston Texas areas to work on real-life challenges in your dog’s natural environment.
